    hello friends , i have a LG DVD writer and i don't know whether it is single layer or double layer writer , will anybody plz tell me how can i know the type of writer i have and how to identify a DVD writer as a double layer or single layer

    Find the model number and check in the DVD writers section to your left.

    Either that or run DVDInfo to check your drive and see if the boxes next to the DL disks have check marks in them or not.
