Not sure if anyone can help me here, but I have an older Wired Mpeg2 encoder board. This encoder board was originally for Mac base systems. I am using windows base system. Windows2000 and Windows XP. The software that came with the board is Media press encoding software. I can’t find a windows driver for this board. When I launch the media press application it sees the board but crashes during encoding because I don’t have drivers for the Wired encoding board.
Anyone know a work around for this?

No the Media Press is MAC only
the board you have is excellent and supported in MAC OS X by a new incarnation of WIRED
available here..

The old software for OS 9xx is free now I think -
Thanks for the reply….I was able to use the encoder with Windows2000 using a legacy video capture driver in windows. I have since upgraded my mother board to an Intel Perl motherboard and can no longer use the Wired encoder. When I was able to use it in Windows it did an awesome capture, which is why I would like to continue to use it, but can’t get it to work. I am hoping someone out there has a workaround for Windows.
