I have some EyeTV recordings with the unusual resolution of 544x576. They seem to come from the original DVB-T stream They play fine in 4:3 format on the computer.
When I burn them to DVD with Toast I can also playback the DVD perfectly on the Mac, but when I play them back on my standalone player, they play back with the wrong aspect ratio, and only fill 2/3rds of the TV screen - the right side is blank. The image is also distorted.
Does anyone know how to fix this? Preferably without having to reencode the MPEGs.
Or is this a bug in EyeTV?
