Would it be possible for future versions of ffmpegX to include support for .eyetv, the file type that Elgato's EyeTV 2 records into? I want to re-encode my EyeTV recordings into H.264, but the built-in encoder is terrible! It takes about 3 days to encode a standard movie!

    Thanks!

Is there any method of converting an EYETV 2 file yet? Are they already an MPEG2 file as Toast recognises it as?

EDIT: I've just discovered that the EYETV 2 file is actually a package.
In finder if you right click (or option click) and select show package contents you'll see the MPEG2 file.
You can then simply drag it into FFMPEGX and convert to your hearts content.
