  1. It's been awhile since i did one of these and i fixed this before but now i don't remember.

Ok here's the problem, when i play the MVCD even on my computer it says the movie is like 55 mins long in windows media player but yet VLC player has the normal hour and 45 mins or so.

Now this wouldn't be a big deal if i only wanted to watch it on the computer as i could just use VLC player but when windows media player can't tell what it is then when you take the file into Nero, tmpenc, virtual dub,ect they also think the file is only 55mins long and when you burn it the full movie is not there.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Don't use Nero to author. VCDEasy is the (S)VCD authoring app.

  3. This didn't help at all,as i said it makes it as thoe the movie is 55mins long instead of it's normal time unless played by VLC player or put into Virtual dub ,tmpengc and tmpgenc dvd author both don't see it correctly either to be able to even change it.

Anyone else please have any idea's besides virtual dub to xvid,Tmpengc to VCD,vcd to dvd author, that's a lot of steps for something that is sposed to be 1 cd burn and all these encodeing turns it to about 1.1 gigs or so.

Now, both MVCD and KVCD is out of specs VCD, and if they play or not is up to how strictly the player adheres to standard compliance.
When you talk about these M/KVCD, are you in fact referring to mpeg1 files, encoded as M/KVCD, or are you referring to M/KVCD discs?
If it's files, and only VLC handles them without problems, I'd say there is something wrong with the file, like a bad spot (frame) @ the 55 min mark.
Also, I'm not following you completely; in your first post, you say that:
take the file into Nero, tmpenc, virtual dub,ect they also think the file is only 55mins long
    but in the second:
the movie is 55mins long instead of it's normal time unless played by VLC player or put into Virtual dub
Does VirtualDub read it correctly or not?
