I've been converting some .wmv files to divx and if I use the mp3 encoder that is native? to TMPGEnc Xpress I sometimes have sync problems (sync is OK at beginning of clip but after about 10 minutes the sound preceeds the video by about a second -- in other words the sound shrinks compared to the video). When I use the River Past Video Cleaner to do the conversion I don't have this problem. But Video Cleaner recommends that one use the lame encoder which it allows. So, my thinking is that if I use the lame encoder with TMPGEnc Xpress I might get a better result with that software. However, there doesn't seem to be any way to add audio codecs to TMPGEnc's bag of tricks. Am I missing something?

You can certainly do it with the older TMPGEnc Plus and TMPGEnc Free, not that that helps you much ...
If in doubt, Google it. -
Right ... which is why I'm looking for the secret portal in Xpress 3. Maybe now that you need to buy a separate proggy for each function -- there's even one for being able to encode ac3
-- they'll be coming out with a secret encoder ring proggy.
