  1. Hi, this maybe simple for a lot of you, but not for me. I made a lot of research here before I post but didnt find what I was lookin for...

1- I take my fat .MOV chunk of about 47Gb.
2- I convert it using ffmpeg, with the dvd mpeg2enc codec. I kept almost all settings as they were. I only changed the screen size to 16:9.

3- I also change the audio channel from 0 to 1. As I saw here in an old thread. (anyways, my previous tests with channel 0 gave the same result).

4- Why does my ready to burn .DVD folder as an empty audio_ts folder? I need the sound as well!

    what should I do?

is it because i start from a .MOV?

please dont tell me to use imovie, it wont even open my .MOV, giving me an error message stating my video files are larger than supported...bulls**t!

    quicktime pro 7.0.3
    ffmpeg 0.0.9t
    toast titanium 6.1.1

    thanks everyone

  2. or else, will it work if I drop the related audio AC3 document
given from the same ffmpeg conversion into the audio_TS folder? is it normal to have an empty audio_TS folder after the "MOV to DVD conversion using ffmpeg? And an AC3 file into the other folder related to that same conversion?

    thanks a lot people!

Yes, that is normal. The AUDIO_TS folder is not intended for DVD-Video use, but for DVD-Audio use. The audio that goes with your video is located muxed inside the VOB files in the VIDEO_TS folder.

    alrighty!

in the meantime I started a video-DVD in the toast video tab. I just had to drop my .MOV file and select 16:9! it's converting right now...will it work in standalone dvd players?

    thanks a lot!
