When I burn a DVD using RecordNow! ver. 7.3 I get the following error message:
Microsoft Visual Basic C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error: RecordNow.exe
Application requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
The DVD is good. But - I can't eject it until I reboot the computer!
This only happens with my HP dvd640c drive. My HP dvd200i works fine. This is why I've posted this on the hardware forum. I believe I have the latest firmware upgrade. Device Manager reports the drive as a 640c - "c" being the latest firmware in HP's web site.
Just tried burning without verify option. It works!! Why would verify after write crash? Maybe it is a software problem?
I don't have another burning application to try.
Anyone know what might be the cause??
