I was wondering if it is possable to fit a dvd longer than 2 hrs on on a DVD-5 and keep full quality

Yes, if you redefine "full quality"
Or you could use a higher compression format like MPeg4 (dix,xvid,wmv,h.264,vc-1,...) but you would need a compatible player.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.

full quality meaning the quality of the orginal dvd(just the actual movie)

If just the movie is less than or equal to the DVD-5 then Yes, if not then No. Some form of compression would be required.

Take out the subtitles, remove other languages, convert lpcm audio to ac3. probably... depending on what the bitrate was on the original.
