I am using Easy CD Creator 5.02c. It worked great with a HP 9300 CD burnder. I replaced that burner with a newer model HP CD24ri. While it burns music and data cds succssfully, VCDs appear to burn and are recognized as VCDs in my DVD player ( an newer generation Pioneer), but noting appears on screen. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software with updates. No luck. does anyone have any suggestions? Is it possible that a burner won't burn VCDs, or is it a software issue? If the latter, should I go with Nero instead?

    THANKS!

  2. pregi,

EZCD is VERY easy to use but can only use to burn standard VCD. I would stongly suggest you to use Nero 5.0/+ because it burns all EZCD can burn and more such as SVCD, XVCD, etc. You get the point! For your problem, can you simiplify what you've done? From rip/capture to burn? That way, I then could help you to pin-down your problem. Just from your post I can only suspect there might be something done wrong during rip/capture and encoding. I don't think the burner or software would be any problem because as you said, your player could recognize it as VCD. So, there, it shows me that the burning process is successful. Jordan
