You need to "author" your mpeg then burn. TMPGEnc DVD Author will do that, it will also tell you if your mpeg is DVD compliant. You cannot burn any old mpeg2 to dvd as there are restrictions. Check "what is DVD" on the top left of this page for more info. You can check the authoring section for more authoring options.

Unless your settop DVD player can play raw MPEG, then you must author it. To be able to author it, it must meet DVD specifications first. The process of authoring converts the MPG file into IFO, BUP and VOB files inside a VIDEO_TS folder, which is what most DVD players need to be able to play it.

Check your MPG file with the latest GSpot Beta (2.52) and compare this to https://www.videohelp.com/dvd . If the file is DVD-compliant then you can go forth and author. If not, then you need to re-encode it so it is, or apply some fancy stuff like patching the headers so that your authoring software thinks it is.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  5. Is there a program that can do it quick. I don't care about menus or anything like that.

TMPGenc DVD Author will do it for you provided the Mpeg meets dvd requirements ... if it doesn't you can re-encode it with TMPGenc Xpress3.0 ... both programs are available as a free 14 day trial here http://www.pegasys-inc.com/en/index.html
