    I accidentally formatted a card thinking I had it backed up but I had'nt. I shot jpgs on the card since then and filled it up but have not formatted it again.

    Are those .avi files recoverable?? If so what software would I use?

    If you had not overwritten with new pictures I would have said maybe... now I don't think there's any hope.

    Im using their FILE Recovery software with no luck. Maybe ill try the SMART recovery now.
