I have read so many posts my heads spinningggggggg. I have a p-4 1.4ghz with a 80gb 7200rpm Hd. I use nero5.5 windows ME and am planning to up date to xp. Getting quality vcds/svcd is my concern. I will be capturing analog from hi8 and vhs source. No tv or dv source. I realize that the dv bridge uses a fire wire and the dvc2 uses pci. Which one will produce the best quality vcds/svcd. I don't care about the avi to vcd format time or mpeg2 conversion time I want what will give me the best final results. I think the avi to vcd is better but than mpeg2 to vcd. anyone with some advice please help. I don't want to waste my money or time. TAZ thanks
