ffmpegX's output lines from mencoder and ffmpeg

Is there a way to view the out put lines for mencoder that are generated by ffmpegX. I am trying to debug some video settings, and this would be super helpful. Right now, showing the console output is nice, but does not show all the settings passed to mencoder or ffmpeg.

This would be very useful, especially for batch encoding or for tweaking obscure settings not supported in the GUI. Old versions used to show the commands in the terminal window. Could this be added?
