HI chris me again

i think i have a codec problem i can get a mpg/avi to play in power dvd /wmp/etc but i carnt get them to plat in the asset window of the new svcd to dvd
im useing nero 7 player might have screwed something up

i reinstalled svcd same problem

i know im a pain

By rights, if you can play in WMP then you should be able to play in the preview..... I will try to replicate by installing Nero 7 (Temporarily!)

sorry chris it plays in WMP but ONLY Sound in svcd no pic

Update Chris

the svcd2dvd preview player seems to play only mpegs video and sound

with avis it just plays sound ie no video

but all work in wmp

allso if you click capture screen key while previewing a avi ( no pic just sound ) i get this message

OK problem

fixed had to install divxtotapack2.1 now plays a ok

something must have taken it out
