OMG I made a stupid mistake with formatting an icam.........HELP!!!!!!!

I think that I did a big no no. I have an Aptek icam, my operating system is windows 7. I plugged the cam into the computer and it wanted to format the disc (cams card), well I said yes, but I changed it to ntfs instead of letting it format fat.......now the icam won't even come on with the card in it, and my computer considers it unrecognizable. I wish that I could get it to recognize again so that I can reformat it back to fat.

I can't believe that I did such a stupid thing.......I am so embarrassed.

The cam works fine as long as I remove the memory card.

Is there a way that I can fix this or do I just have to buy a new card?

Try using Windows' partition management. Right click on My Computer (or Computer), select Manage, Then Storage -> Disk Management in the left pane.

With the card inside of the icam, when the icam is plugged in now, the computer isn't doing anything.........its as if it's not even plugged in to the usb port.

Also note that you will need some kind of external card reader since your camera shuts off with the card installed. Do you have a USB card reader that can read your memory card or perhaps a printer that has a card reader built in? Once you have the card plugged into a card reader you should be able to reformat the card using Windows Explorer.
