I can buy 50-packs of YUDEN DVD+R (Sony brand) for $14.99 per spindle locally, with only 8% tax. Shipping is far more expensive than an 8% tax.

So that's my issue, no free shipping.

I've not bought media online for 9 months now because of all the in-store deals being the same as or better than what you'd find online.

I've not voted as I'm in the UK, but that looks like a pretty good deal to me.
But, in the UK there are very few high street stores selling blank DVD media in bulk (and by bulk I just mean more than a 5-pack). Going online is the only real option, but the Taiyo Yuden are just a little more expensive this side of the pond (100 DVD-R from SVP.co.uk)...

    16x Inkjet Printable = £49 = US$86
    8x Inkjet Printable = £40 = US$71
    16x Non-printable = £43 = US$76
    8x Non-printable = £40 = US$71
Plus p&p (give or take a few pence/cent)

If I going to spend money anyway, I want to spend it on the quality.

Taiyo have been earning a lot of good words, and now with such good price-$29.99, I don't want to miss it.

The disk lordsmurf is taking about ARE Taiyos. Just as Fuji brand is if they say Made in Japan on them.

Not sure why this is here, you already have a topic started in Media about these disc.

Meanwhile 2 of your 4 total post have contained links to specific stores.

If your not using this account for advertising everything is ok. But if you are be aware that you are now being watched.
