On the LEFT hand side of the website is a nifty little "toolbar" which is arranged into SUBJECTS and under LISTS you will find an option called "DVD Hacks"

Searching there for LiteOn 5005 resulted in the following:

I got my LiteOn LVW-5005 All-Write a little over a year ago and updated the firmware that I modded per Guitarman's instructions (https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=255089&highlight=liteon - or just go straight to http://www.ss3f.com/ilo/). It was a very simple mod and worked flawlessly.
