LG dvd recorder LGR435 question about progressive scan

Hi there
i was playing in the setup and by accident enable progressive scan and now i can't see anything on the screen... it's black

is there a way to factory reset the dvd recorder i have unplug the unit for about 8 hours and the only thing that is reset is the time

the progressive scan still there

Does your TV have Component inputs? If not, try connecting the composite video in from the TV to the Component Y (green jack) on the DVD player. If it works it will be in black & white and maybe a double pix but you should be able to set it back.

Or, connect it to a TV that has progessive scan.

Open the DVD tray press stop for 5 seconds and this would reset it again
