Nero will not import mpeg files bigger than 2gig

When i try to import a mpeg2 file bigger than 2gig to be authored and burnt to a dvd disc it throws a wobbly and says can't import,but if i slice
the same mpeg2 into two chunks aprox 1.75gig each and import them seperately it works every time,but the film comes out with a noticeable
click where the two films have been joined together in nero's editor also
the file size added for authoring seems to huge aprox 1.3gig.I would appre

Don't use Nero for anything other than burning


Most other authoring softwares that I've used have accepted MPEGs as big as 4.3GB without any hassles (I've never tried anything bigger).

nero express/nero burning rom? or are you using nerovision express?

nero express/nero burning rom can not author any mpeg2 files, it can just burn an already authored dvd. if you are just going to burn mpeg2 files use udf mode for files bigger than 2gb.
