    HI,

    Got some films I am trying to convert from avi to Mpeg4. Have done it from my DVD's to Pmeg4 with perfect play back but AVI films on my laptop I am trying to convert always NEVER match up.

    The sync isnt right with video and sound Is there a way to sync the converted mpeg4 file. Starts off fine but gradually gets worse and worse. Anyone use any other convertor and compression program to change avi to mpeg4???

    what tool are you using now?

    you can try convert the audio to wav with virtualdub,
    video->direct stream copy(copy video)
    audio->full processing (to wav)
    file->save avi.
    and use that avi in your converting tool.

    the converting tool is X-OOM movies to PSP.

    It does a film automatically, doesnt allow you to supply different files for vids and sound.
