Searh and download the following applications:

    1. PVAStrumento

    2. Mpeg2Schnitt

    3. DVDPatcher_v106

    4. TMPGEnc DVD Author

You will have to use them in this same order.

    1. Demux
    2. Cut Join
    3. Patch to Bitrate to 3.5 Mbit (DVD) 704 X 480 - NTS 29.97 (if you are in North America)
    4. Author a DVD

    Finally, Burn to DVD+R.

Are you sure the original resolution is 1280x720 ? I have being recording satellite feeds for for sometime now and
never saw that kind of resolution.

According to the help file of TMPGEnc DVD Author :
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For a standard DVD you can only use the following resolutions:

    352x240 352x480 704x480 720x480 pixels (NTSC format only)
    352x288 352x576 704x576 720x576 pixels (PAL format only)
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As you can see, if you try to create a DVD with a resolution of 1280 X 720 you will encounter a problem, but you can give it a try.

    Suerte.

    Try the following:

Rename the TP file to TS extension first, then try to open it using PVAstrumento.

    Hello voxi

If you want the original resolution of the .ts file to play back on a DVD then then you will have to get a DVD player that accepts resolutions greater than 720x480. DVD VOB files are limited to 720x480 resolution.

I use a LinkPlayer2 wich will play resolutions from 480i to 1080i, Mpeg, Divx, Xvid, WMV9 and TS files. You can get about 45 min of a .TS or HD Mpeg file on a DVD or convert it to Divx or Xvid in HD and get over 2 hours on a DVD using HDTVtoMPEG2 and VirtualDubMPG. Burn it to a DVD in ISO mode. The results are a crowd pleaser.

    Hopes this helps,

    Chas
