    There refurbished or priced at the original price they came out at...and if thats the case I may as well just buy a DVR-533

    the 533H is a subpar performer for DV input. In fact, he is selling his.

  4. The refurb 320's that Pioneer Auctions sells on eBay are excellent... I've had several of them and they've all been perfectly fine. Sometimes they will have a couple of minor scratches on them, but operationally they are great. They come with a 90 day warranty, too.

    There are so many store returns of DVD recorders that there really is an excellent secondary market of units available. Many people buy them thinking they are as easy to use as a VCR... when they discover that is not the case, they return them. The vast majority of the time there is nothing wrong with the recorder itself.
