Upgraded my C: drive to 160GB Seagate with 5-yrs wty - because it cost
only $40 after 2 rebates from Best Buy.

Aftwrwards, when starting S2D the splash screen would show, then disappear.
No error messages, no nothing. I re-installed .NET framework, no joy.

Then I thought maybe S2D's superb warez protection was mad at me

Yup ! The quick fix for me was to go into the S2D program folder, run the demo version I found there, then re-run the registered version. Somewhere in this process S2D became happy, I became happy and all is well.
