  1. Smartripper says authentication verified and rips everything ok until the very end. It says it can't find the last key, so do I want to use the last key found. Whether I say yes or no makes no difference.
I can play all the VOB files on my pc no problem, but I can't burn them to DVD, or any other format as I get the message 'can't open vob4' and it cancels the whole deal. VOB4 is the last 25mins of the movie, so without it, it's useless.
ALSO... The vob files are all in german language! the original disks are uk diskes and play fine.
    Any ideas anyone?

Use something else ? As these are older releases, DVD Decrypter should have no problems, otherwise consider DVD Fab Decrypter.

Unfortunately I think the problem exists somewhere inbetween the keyboard and the chair, but I can't quite put my finger on it ...

    Maybe try these guides:

    If in doubt, Google it.

Even most German released DVD's have the English name listed first and foremost....especially as seen by a computer.

    Fine by me

I tend to agree with what you're saying though - my guides possibly won't assist you

Obviously you've tried to rip the DVD with other rippers like DVDDecrypter (guide provided), or DVDFab Decrypter ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

  7. I just copy all three Rambo movies this week using DVDDecrypter and Shrink. Works great togather as all I wanted was the movie no extras.

    Thanks for that one.
