  1. I'm having problems reading VCDs on my Pioneer DV-333. From what I read on this site and this board is that you can basicaly throw anything at this player and it will play it but not me!

    Whenever I pop a VCD in, it doesn't even recognize it as a VCD! The CD light comes on for about half a second then it goes to DVD and if I try to start it well it just search forever.

    Is there something special I need to do when I create the VCDs or what am I doing wrong?

    I have tried different programs from this site and still the same results!!

    Please Help!!

    I have the same dvd player. Mine plays vcds fine Are you buring your own vcds and if so what software program are you using. I found easy cd creator5 plat. sucks no vcds created with it played in the dvd333. Use nero5.5 and you should have vcds that now work in your dvd player. Let me know how it turns out or if you need more info.

  3. Yes I do burn them myself and I have used Nero 5.5 and also easyVCD.
