I'm thinking of reverting XP back to 98se so that I can use MMC's TV on Demand function again (dosen't work in XP, but it worked in 98 ).
Does 7.5 automatically start a new capture at the four gig limit (FAT32)? I'd like to be able to capture for hours using the full capacity of my capture drive.

I wanted XP for the stability and NTFS, but TV on Demand brings XP to it's knees. Tech support and members of this board were not able to help.

  2. Yes. Mmc 7.5 automatically creates a 2nd file when reaching a specified limit.

  4. Well, I could not get it loaded on 98se, but did get it working on 98me. As for it creating a 2nd file I have not gotten that to work, don't know why I made sure the settings were correct to split, but no luck. I also get a weird error with it estimating time left on my hard drive, it keeps flipping from massive time left to very little, seems like it might have some bugs.

    Just my 2cents..

So where is the setting to capture to multiple files - and does it work in TV ON DEMAND mode?

  7. It's in the last page when editing a MPEG preset.
I believe it's automatically turned on for tv on demand based on the file system.

"I believe it's automatically turned on for tv on demand based on the file system"

The ATI Digital VCR setting lists "spanning large files" as one feature, but it's not working on my machine. After four gigs is used, older video gets replaced by newer video.

I think the only place right now is my homepage

    SubZeroTech took down their link
get it while you can - and be patient I am on a slow server

I'll keep it up as long as I can - until my host complains or ATI asks me to remove it
