    the DVD presets show 29.97 fps in the summary pane if selected



    but they encode using 23.98 fps shown in the info pane of ffmpegX Progress



    this is confirmed in Quicktime's info window when the m2v is opened in Quicktime.



    the source is a eyeTV 500 HD mpg with 1280 x 720 framesize and 59.94 fps.

    I'm trying to get the m2v file into DVDSP 4 but this 23.98 fps is incompatible. Why am I not getting 29.97 fps when I select it in the video pane?
    G5 2ghz x2 1g ram, alchemy tv card, 200 g lacie firewire hd, formac studio dv/tv, eyetv 500; a PC and a series 2 TIVO

    do not use the dvd ( ffmpeg) setting.
    use the dvd (mpeg2ec) setting according to major
    to make it DVD Studio compliant.

    i was going to do that, but in the info pane of ffmpegx progess the still says 23.98. but it'll be great if it works
