    Hi-

    In what format do you want the subs? In addition to the apps you mentioned, PGCDemux can demux subs to SUP DVD format, and VobSub Configure can put them into IDX/SUB format. Using VobSub's Resynch, you can then OCR the IDX/SUB files to a number of text based formats including SSA, SRT, etc. There are other programs available also, but you'll have to be a bit more specific about what you want.
