Barry Hall's pending tribunal visit might make things interesting, but I have some serious doubts over West Coast's ability to play in Melbourne, particularly at the G. Also, I think Sydney were robbed in the dying minutes of the Qualifying Final over there. If Goodes wasn't tripped, or Barry wasn't allowed to run into space without getting bumped by Stenglein coming 2 metres sideways off the mark, then I'm a poor judge. The eagles have already won in 92 and 94 too. It would be good to see the first Bloods flag since 1933, and first since the Sydney move 23 years ago.

Reckon he'll try to get the charge amended such that it was in play (since he was leading), hence reducing the penalty to one match, which then breaks down to just a reprimand for an early plea ?

The other way to go about it is to show all the incidents that happened throughout the year that were very similar yet no reports were made - Glen Archer had at least 3 or 4 of these.

The trouble is it happened about 40m off the ball, hardly "in play". In play is within 5m. Fraser Gehrig copped a suspension for a love tap that was less severe than Hall's (not that Hall's was what I would call "severe").

I hope Sydney wins, but I reckon West Coast by 23 points.

I hate Barry Hall, what an arsehole! Did anyone else catch the tackle Barry made against Wirrapunda? He should be suspended for that! That would have to hurt.
