    Hello,

    WOW!!!!!!!!!!

    AWESOME!!!!!!

Anakin turns to the dark side big time!!!!!

This will show everyone that the prequels have been worth it!

And I don't think there will be episodes 7-9 - at the end of the trailer it said "THE SAGA WILL BE COMPLETED - MAY 19th" -

They had the CORVETTES from the Episode 4..... Oh man I can't wait, I can't wait, I can't wait...........

MAY 19th REVENGE OF THE SITH

    Kevin

EDIT - I've got it on tape and I'll transfer it to dvd tomorrow

  2. hopefully this will see an end to a truly sorry affair. Expect lots of pretty colours, a truly dire script, woeful acting and something fluffy.

If nothing else it should put a halt to your, frankly boring, diatribes about these awful movies.

George Lucas, may God have mercy on your soul - if you still have one.

I don't think I've seen the second one...

personally, the original's have a nostalgic flare to them, haven't gotten into the new ones.

Wasn't the Godfather Epic Version (just I and II together, told in chronological order) marketed the same way ... as the end of an epic? Money talks, trailers walk. 8)

Of course, Lucas has so much money now that he personally doesn't need any more. But, Star Wars has transcended it's creative beginnings to become a marketing juggernaut ... an "industry" that supports many people. It might be hard for him to just walk away from it. Time will tell...

BTW, this was in a recent issue of the British magazine, Hotdog:
No wonder Peter "Chewbacca" Mayhew is smiling. Not only has he been rescued from obscurity and given the chance to reprise his role as our Wookie comrade for Episode III, but his contract also stipulates that he'd be required to appear in Episodes 7, 8, and 9.
And, more than one site says that Lucas plans to begin pre-production work on Episode 7 in 2014. The Mayhew story is geniune. The 2014 story might be rumor ... but it's not only being discussed by "fans," it's being discussed by the "toy industry." Action figure manufacturing involves a lot of pre-planning and 2014 is only 9 years away.

I think this will probably be the last of the movies. I would like to see a T.V. series, though.

    Hello,

Yeah I think the only way 7-9 would be done would be if someone else directed. I would think LUCAS would want to slow down something close to a retirement pace eventually......

BUT I'm always ready for more!!!!!!

    Hello,

Well - SPIELBERG - but I don't know. Did anyone see that documentary on the TRILOGY bonus dvd about LUCAS leaving the union and that's why SPIELBERG wasn't able to direct JEDI?????

So any non-union director is a candidate.

Yes. I'd love a new Star Trek move. I'm a great fan of Star Trek too. Anyways.

I was talking w/ a friend, trying to convince, (after what they did to
Batman) ..what's to stop LUCAS from re-doing 4, 5 and 6 to make them more
in line (if need be, or revised a little) to meet with 1, 2, and 3, in addition
to the new technoledgies included, thank's to computer animation and the
various newer generation of special effects.

I love the original first three that came out, (now known as 4, 5 and 6)
And, after thinking about a re-make of 4, 5 and 6 quite some time ago, and I
was dead against it, I could not help bring back those thoughts again (after
seeing the lastest SW trailer) that it wouldn't be such a bad idea to re make
them again, and make do some corrections/revision/or fine-tuning with the
current 'style' of story-line'ing things around a bit. I think it would pass
many peoples minds, an acceptable move. Because of the many newer advances
in special effects, it would be a good move to fine-tune a new generation of
Star Wars EP 4, 5 and 6 - - That is my opinion (and wish, now)

    ---> Re-make Episodes 4, 5, and 6

And please, don't make a mini-tv series in between.

    Hello,

A mini series could be done very well with STAR WARS IF it had proper funding and was all in house without any networks getting in the way of the story.

The problem with a mini-tv series is like this.. to me anyways..

You do it before a set of movies are produced. Not after. To me,
once you've done the movies, thats it.

When I view a series after a movie, (take Smallville (SMV)) it takes
away from the original flavor. Plus, as time progress, they tend to
slip up with cheap story lines to fill in the season. There were
several like this for SMV. (I happen to like SMV) I tell you, I can't
make up my mind who's Gorel (spelling) anymore. But, I tell you this,
that voice sounds a lot like the charactor from the first Superman
movie (of the three bad guys) Anyways. I just can't tell anymore,
cause I feel that they are running out of ideas, and because of this,
they are taking away some of the flavor, and now comprimising on the
originality or truth, and setteling with just a fill-in from season
to season. Anyways. By now, you might be getting my point of the
bad side of this mini series idea.
    .
The last thing I want to do, is feel unsettled when I pick up my DVD
movies of 1, 2 and (soon to be 3) after seeing a slowly killed/tainted
mini series, and tasting the bad flavors left from the mess. (it might
be good at first, but sonner or later, things will wine down, and
    writers/ideas will begin slacking)
    .
So, no. Instead, I'd rather see them re-make 4, 5 and 6 for sure.

I think a miniseries would be great. If they did it you KNOW it would have a large budget. I imagine it being like A Band of Brothers. Its really just a full featured movie but told in installments.

I caught the Sith trailer and it really does look awesome. I thought that Anakin was going to be more or less torn throughout the film and only really become evil near the end...but from the trailer it looks like he is going to be a badass pretty much throughout the whole thing.

But I tell you this. If 'Revenge of the Sith' makes my heart pound,
and my adrenlyn rush, as it did in the first one, "The Phantom Menace",
and now also as it did for the movie trailer, that's the kind of movie
worth it all. Getting that real feel. Get my blood pumping mad.
    .
There's a special uniqueness that LUCAS has when it produces these
Star Wars movies. He doesn't rush things. Everything is carefully
sketched and re-schedueld and re-story lined, etc etc etc, until it
all begins to unfold in heart-pounding experience.

This is it. It's the big'wees. To go all out in style. No time to skimp
on anything. I happen to like LUCAS's style and practice. I
know I'll be getting a quality story.

    I can't wait, too.
