  1. hello is there a way to use ffmpegx to reencode a dvd rather that dvd2onex to drop frames? if the original movie is over 7.5gb i always get crappy results. i'd rather encode for 8hrs and have a good result than do it in 30mins and have a poor result.

maybe mr major could feature a cce app in the next update, damn those pcs, they get everything

anyone got a good work around? i take it cce on vpc would take far to long

    thanx

  2. You may encode the VOB file by using "DVD ffmpeg" target format.

So, in order to do this, one needs to actually access the .vob file in the "open" segment of video tab, and not the entire video_ts file ?

In my video_ts file there are 6 .vob files numbered 0-5.

which one do i pick ?

    thanks so much!

  4. If you used MTR to extract the movie, you can ask MTR to extract is as a single VOB file (by enabling the "Titlte/Chapter" mode). That way it will be possible to encode it in a single step with the "DVD ffmpeg" target.

  5. Ok, how do I do that ? (I hate for this to evolve into a MTR thread, but any help is appreciated)

I have tried this by selecting "Main feature only" and selecting "enable PNC mode in Title/Chapter mode".

Yet, I am still getting multiple .vob files.

    thanks.

  6. The menu in the "Mode" tab should say "Title-Chapter Extraction".
