Ulead dvd moviefactory help

I am having some problems with this app. I have a couple of dvd files i want to burn with a menu.
The dvd files are xvid and Divx.

I am having some problems converting the video using U.D.F. Are there any ways of converting the xvid and divx before using U.D.F to burn it with a menu?

Choose the free version of DivxToDVD 2

Dose a real nice job at converting xvid or dvix to dvd ready .

Ifoedit to strip video and audio
Besweet to convert audio to ac3
Use vdub to open vobs
(handy for snap shots of required thumbnails for menu's)
Use gimp to create all required menu's (add thumbnails) (save as jpg's)
Use dvdauthorgui's inbiult still to m2v (convert all jpgs to m2v's)
Add menu's and video + audio to dvdauthorgui
Add basic navigation and buttons

Pgcedit to edit nav commands .

Install ac3filters , and ifoedit
Launch ifoedit , open newly created dvd video_ts.ifo
Play test , esspecially the menu for any error's
If correct , burn with nero .
If nero installed , my use imagetools instead , simpler ...

If any menu issue's appear in ifoedit , re-edit with pgcedit , retest till ok .

Seems like a lot of work , but you can have a lot of fun as well ...
