  1. well i ripped a dvd, did the dvd2avi thing and encoded w/ tmpge

    problem...i accidently left track two as audio from last rip (which on this dvd is commentary) now is there a way to split the output mpg and rejoin in w/ the proper audio track at all?

    Yeah. Your .mpg can be split into a seperate .m1v (video) and .mp2 (audio) using demultiplex in TMPGEnc (file>mpeg tools I think). You can then make another .mp2 file from a different audio source using TMPGEnc by selecting audio only in those little radio tabs on the bottom right (in this case another commentary track or whatever your other audio track is) and assuming it is of the same length as your video you can just multiplex them together to get a file with the right audio and video. Might be easier to just reencode the whole audio track in this case since I don't know how tought it would be to cut up your .mp2s and splice them back together. This would be much quicker than redoing the whole thing since just converting the audio takes a fraction of the time and mutex/demutex is also pretty quick.
