  1. Hi guys im new to this, and i really want to know how to sub a XVID and change that XVID into DVD so i can burn it . Right now i have the XVID and the sub file .SSA can someone show me where to start from now. PLS show me in detail... THX

    try this - https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?link=697. If it's not exactly what you need, try using the how-to menu to the left, choose convert, and voila! Just pick your format.

  6. ok.. so i tried loading tmy XVID movie up with virtualdub, and i have an error message saying, "couldnt locate compressor for format "XVID: VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec for the compressor video. " What does that mean and what am i suppose to do? pls help

  7. It means you're missing the codec. You need a Codec information tool such as GSPot (for AVIs) or AVICodec (for AVIs and MPGs) that will tell you exactly what codecs you need and whether or not you have them. You can then search for then through the "codec" link on the column to the left of this page, or google for it.

    Oh! and if it's an AVIi, use GSpot also to see whether you can render the file or not. I've found that sometimes the codec is installed, but it isn't "useable" because it's integrated with another program.

  9. i manage to get the subtitle with vobsub when i tmpgenc the movie into DVD, but i keep getting double sub after tmpgenc is done. Anyone know why? PLS HELP
