joining subtitles help

I've joined two avi files with VirtualDub. I got 2 srt now. I was searching for the forums on how to join subtitles work Subtitle Workshop. I've tried it, but it's not working. I go to join subtitles and I load the to subtitle up then just click join right? I'm not sure how to set delay or where to set it.

Can someone link me to a newbie guide for this. I seem to be having trouble not making it work.

Just look in the Help file in Subtitle Workshop.
There are no other tutorials, because everything is explained there.
Just follow the instructions. There are several ways to do the job.
I suggest to print that help file and keep it handy.
Search thru forum topics, as well, because you may found usefull tips.
