  1. Using ffmpegX 0.0.9s on 10.3.8

I am attempting to backup 'The Incredibles' (house policy is to never let the kids loose with the original of any DVD). Using OSeX, I've extracted a VOB with both 5.1 and stereo AC3 tracks. The VOB plays in VLC fine.

When I try to use the dvd>dvd4 tool, including both audio tracks by using the drop dowwn boxes as per the instructions, I get the following error:

    Code:
**ERROR: [mplex] Need to split output but there appears to be no %d in the filename pattern /Users/pglock/Movies/INCOEUW12/TITLE01-ANGLE1.VOB.4.mpg
    Any ideas?

  2. I've taken the .m2v and both ac3 files created by ffmpegX and sucessfully used DVDSP to mux and burn a working DVD. Wonder what the problem is in mplex?

Same here - (same movie, same reasons :-), same problem. I used Mac the Ripper to extract the whole disk, and am getting the same mplex error.

I tried just the single audio tracks too, FWIW.
