I fail to see much difference between toast 6 and 7. If you already have popcorn I don't see the need to uprgrade. I'm only concerned with DVD production though...

specifically differences between toast 7 and popcorn is the ability to now extract a specific title or chapter from a DVD and burn to a new DVD or turn into a DivX file.

Ah okay. I'm just interested in turning my dsp projects into dvds and toast 7 doesn't compress down to dual layer! When will a mac burning program do it??

Every now and then I make dvd projects that are over the dual layer limit, so i need to compress them down. I do it on a pc, but it's annoying not to be able to do it on a mac.
