(posted in this forum as i wasn't sure which would be the most suited for this)
I mainly wish to use a card to capture video from composite input, more directly from gamecube games. Given that I live in Australia, it seems that the majority of cards that i've seen support various PAL formats, a couple of SECAM formats, and only NTSC-M/M-J. I want to record a majority of video in 60Hz mode, but herein lies the other problem: both ntsc formats come up black and white/greyscale, while showing the correct line-screen ratio.

Now, when i try and record 60Hz in a PAL mode using my current card, it comes out looking something like either of these: (output seems to vary depending on which PAL mode i choose, whichever one i see with overlay it comes out recorded as the other):

This is something that bothers me to a large extent, given that a majority of games I wish to record can be played in 60Hz, and i dont wish to be limited to the PAL video modes if i can help it.

So i guess my question is this: is there someone who knows of a card that would suit my purpose down to a tee (supports colour ntsc video modes, given that PAL60 comes out with the same results as NTSC does), that is reasonably priced (as in between $100-$250 AUD)?

I would be greatful of any help given.
