  1. Guys, I'm wanting to burn MPEG to VCD with Nero. When I drag the MPEG file to the files menu, Nero checks the file, then displays an INFO box that says that the file is NON-COMPLIANT "Stream encoding which is invalid for a
[Super] Video-CD". It prompts to continue with non-compliance, or re-encode the file, or cancel. My file is 352x240 @23.976, and audio is Layer-2, 44100 Hz, 224 kbps. Thanks for all the help.

  2. Right now, it looks like your file is NON-COMPLIANT. If your DVD supports XVCD, then continue by turning off standard compliance. If your DVD DOES NOT support XVCD, you need to use TMPGEnc to reencode the file to PAL or NTSC by loading the templates.

  3. JusMe,

How did you make your MPEG? What is the bitrate for the video? Is it 1150 kbit/s?

If so, your MPEG can be VCD compliant. Try remultiplexing it with TMPGEnc with the setting on "MPEG-1 Video-CD" rather than auto.

    352x240 @ 23.976 is a perfectly compliant VCD setting (NTSC-FILM).

    Regards.
