Anyone know how to format a DVD-RAM disc in windows XP?
I have an LG 4120B multi burner.
I've been using DVD-RAM for data backups for a while now, but the 'format' command seems to have vanished. The drive is shown as a DVD-RAM drive in 'my computer', but when I right click, there is no option to format it?
Usually I just drag and drop stuff onto the drive icon, but my discs are all full, and I can't seem to wipe them again.

    Any ideas?

Try deleting the drive in Device Manager then rebooting. Since DVD-RAM support is native to XP, it may solve your problem.

Thanks bud, that seems to have done the trick.
