I just read a post below but it didn't give me much insight--dvdshrink completely locks up my system. I will load up the program, and then try to open a dvd into the program. Sometimes it does it, and often times it freezes at that stage. If it doesn't freeze there, it freezes at other random times. And when it locks up, it locks up my entire system--I have no mouse control, and ctr-alt-delete doesn't do a thing. I have to do a hard reboot.

    I am running Win2k, 1.8Ghz P4 processor, 256 MB of ram.

Rip the dvd to your harddrive in iso mode with dvddecrypter. Then open the iso in dvdshrink. That way shrink won't have to read the dvd.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

I ripped the dvd to my harddrive in iso mode, but I'm only left with MDS, I00 and I01 files.

You can always try ripping file mode with DvdDecrypter or DVDFab Decrypter and then "open files" with DVDShrink. Make sure you have enough hard disk space. If it keeps locking up during shrinking your cpu may be overheating, or your power supply might be marginal. Reseat your system ram. It's also possible your free ram may be insufficient since you only have 256MB.
