I think I have the latest version installed. I am trying to convert a pal mpg to NTSC dvd files. It's 1 MPG and it happens right at the beginning of the convert.

Looks like there are two audio streams here. Can you use the makesample tool (in the SVCD2DVD folder) to email me a 3-5MB sample? OR play around with the audio encoding settings so that the audio doesn't get converted.
I have just noticed that you don't have the latest version so maybe getting the latest is the first thing to try.SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
