    Hadn't seen any reports on if Patchburn3 will support this,
    but if the price is any indication, 16x burning will soon
    be the defacto standard for the mac.

    It will take a while for firmware updaters to work with it. Folks who already have it have been reporting on cdfreaks and rpc firmware sites that is's a bit snappier than the 109 with 16x media. The 110 comes in a 110D version also. The 110D will not do DVD-Ram, while the 110 will. I think the newegg version is the 110D.
