  1. Hi:
    is possible Authoring a dvd use Ulead-DVDworkshop like TMPEG DVD Author software to put three or four VCD to one DVD?
    then, HOw?
    becuse the TMPEG DVD Author menus which I don't like,I like the Ulead-DVDworkshop better,can someone help??????????

    Well, it'll accept VCD spec MPEG1 files for authoring DVDs, converting only the audio from 44.1KHz to 48KHz, since VCD video is a valid DVD spec, if that's what you mean.

    Mine does.


    Note that the arrow indicates that DVDWS2 will not convert an MPEG1 VCD-spec video when authoring a DVD, as the Convert to Disc Template box is left unchecked by the program. Under the Audio tab the box is checked by the program, since the 44.1KHz audio must be converted to 48KHz.

  5. the clip I input are already conver ,I use Tmpge to
    canver from rmvb to mpg also (48khz audio),is the DVDWORKSHOP can be cut the clip?like TMPGEnc DVD Author?but anyway,if I don,t want the thumbnail as my menu ,I want word instead.

    yes, DVDWS2 will accept mpeg-1 files within the allowable specs for mpeg-1 on DVD. And since VCD falls within the allowed specifications, the video will work for authoring dvd's -- as mentioned, the audio needs to be converted from 44.1 to 48khz.
