    what program(s) do u guys suggest that i use to take out files that cannot be copy off cd/dvd whether or not able to read/view them.

    In my experience, once a disc becomes unreadable (the whole disc or just some files on the disc), it is trash. Save what you can and pitch.

    That's my experience anyway.
