I have been using FlaskMPEG to convert VOB files to DiVx format. I do a small test run, test the AVI file and it's fine. I then start again and after 14 hours I get a AVI file that either causes MMP8 to die, The Playa to hang or no sound.

It seems that between starting and stopping FlaskMPEG it loses the audio settings (which should MPEG 3). After two such slow and painful occurrences I worked out I had to note the settings in the Divx encoder and other places, shutdown FlaskMpeg, open it up again, reset the settings etc. and then start encoding

Anybody seen this strange occurrence?
