Some help please. I just bought this baby and it works great. Now I want to buy Region 2 DVD's but I can't seem to find out if this player can play them. Where would I find this info? I checked the manual and unless I missed it, I cannot find an answer. Is this player Region All, Multi-egion or Region Free. Thanks for any help.

Chances are remote that it's region free, unless where you bought it stated specifically that it was region free. If you bought it from a shop in your area (which I see is Queens) it's most likely Region 1.

  4. You can buy some region 1 players that are hackable via remote control and avoid high prices for region free players.

Buy an Oppo...region free out of the box, plays just about anything put into it and has High Def upconversion to boot. I tested some DivX avi TV show episodes on my friend's Oppo and 102" projector and they look very nice. The Oppo will probably be my next player...

Hey I just checked googled the model OPDV971H. Sounds great. Can't seemed to find any info on using this player on a regular 32" TV set. I do not have large screen tv yet. But it really sounds great.
