This is hilarious! The news station actually did a bit on the benefits of the stripper pole!

    Definetely worth a watch.

It's 2 minutes long and 8mb (wmv file). (work safe )

I saw it and it's yet another stupid fitness gimmick from the USA . There's an old story about it here

cut out the Big Mac's & French Fries I say . I just know one day that McDonalds will start opening Fitness Centres so you can lose it while you eat it

You can eat bread and water and still be an obese lard ass. I think you'd be shocked at how many overweight people never eat fast food. Diet alone does not keep one healthy, you need exercise, and whoring it up on a stripper pole looks like a lot of fun, both for the ones doing, and the ones watching it.

true, I've seen quite a few beer bellys here in the UK , though there is supposedly a gene to blame for some men

Remember that news story a few months ago about the college kids that installed a stripper pole in their dorm room??? Now they can claim it was just for excersise

    Its nice and simple...

    * Calories Consumed < Calories Expended - you will loose weight

    * Calories Consumed = Calories Expended - you will maintain the same weight

    * Calories Consumed > Calories Expended - you will gain weight

It doesn't really matter what you eat it's how much you each that matters. Likewise with the exercise, it doesn't really matter what you do but anything that promotes pole dancing can't be bad
