    i have 2 disc vcd,i have extracted mpg files,with isobuster,converted using svcd2dvdmpg,but when i try to author i get error message,that resolution of 480x 576,is not standard for dvd,what can i do to change this??

    480 x 576 is actually PAL SVCD (see What is SVCD ? (top left) and is not part of the DVD spec. However, there are authoring programs that will author it as-is (dvd-lab comes to mind), but you're taking a bit of a gamble on your player being able to play it. AFAIK if your players plays SVCDs then it will more than likely still play it. Otherwise you're looking at re-encoding to a DVD-compliant frame size.
